Abstract

One of the areas with the most vegetable production in Tabanan Regency is in Baturiti District. The Baturiti Vegetable Main Market is one of the main distribution centers of agricultural products in Tabanan Regency. The Baturiti Vegetable Main Market often faces various problems, both in terms of facilities and management, so that it has an impact on the comfort and safety of traders and visitors. This is due to several factors such as a lack of good arrangement, inadequate facilities such as clean water and toilets, and waste management that is not optimal. The management and the Customary Village have re-designed the market as one of the efforts to optimize the function of the market. The market re-design is carried out independently without any intervention from the relevant agencies. Based on these problems, this study aims to find out the extent to which the results of market re-design are in line with SNI 8152:2021 and what technical aspects have and have not been met. A descriptive method was used to analyze the conformity of the SNI 8152:2021 standard in the results of this market redesign. The results of the study are that the results of the redesign have met 50% of the specified standards, as many as 17 aspects have been met and 17 others have not been met.
