Abstract

The goal of this study was to assess the influence of the current ratio and debt to equity ratio on financial hardship. A quantitative approach was taken in the research process. The population in this study were 18 media and entertainment subsector companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2023 timeframe, utilizing a purposive sampling technique in sample selection and obtained 3 companies as samples. Descriptive statistical tests, panel data regression models, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and coefficients of determination employing data processing tools Eviews 12 are examples of data analysis approaches. The results of this study reveal that concurrently the current ratio and debt to equity ratio have no effect on financial hardship.
