This study aims to describe the implementation of the constructivism approach in learning Islamic jurisprudence on prayer material for sixth grade students of MI Muhammadiyah 15 Sidomukti according to John Dewey's constructivism theory and its implications. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the constructivism approach in learning Islamic jurisprudence on prayer material has been carried out well by fifth grade Islamic jurisprudence teachers of MI Muhammadiyah 15 Sidomukti Brondong Lamongan, by applying the principles of constructivism developed by John Dewey "learning by doing (learning by doing), Experiential Learning (Learning Based on Experience), Reflective Thinking (Reflective Thinking), Democratic Education (Democratic Education), Problem-Based Learning (Problem-Based Learning), Social Interaction in Learning (Learning through Social Interaction)". Students' reflective and critical thinking skills develop through discussion and question and answer. Thus, constructivist-based learning is proven to be effective in developing students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in a balanced manner.
